The Hoist Loop serves as short connection of the safety harness with the winch hook of a helicopter during take-off and landing on offshore wind turbines. The Hoist Loop is put with a cow hitch through the sternal eyelet of the safety harness (e.g. IGNITE PROTON, ARG 50, 51, 52). The hook of the helicopter winch uses one of the eyelets, while the empty eyelet serves as easy attachment of the back-up system during take-off and landing.
